These horses continue to need care and are not ready for adoption but will be soon.
SLIDER 12
Slider is a 4yo Arabian gelding that came to the rescue on a neglect case. He had to be brought into the rescue on a backboard and it took 2 weeks to get him standing again. This guy has heart damage from starvation and we are waiting for him to more fully heal before adopting. He is sweet and inquisitive and charms everyone who meets him. See more about his recovery by clicking on the picture above.
CHLOE 15

She is a great educational ambassador for rescue donkeys everywhere. Find out more about Chloe’s recovery by clicking on the picture above.
HABANERO 22
Habanero has lots of special care needs including poor liver function, slippered feet, torn tendons, and special dental care all due to long term neglect. He is very sweet and may be ready for adoption soon.
SUGAR 22
Sugar is a super sweet arabian quarter horse cross late teens that was removed from her home by law enforcement due to extreme starvation. She is still healing bed sores and will have permanent scars from this. She has some arthritis in her legs but otherwise should make a complete recovery quickly and ready to adopt soon. She is very quiet to ride and loves people in spite of her past. She is the kind of adorable horse that crawls in your lap.
ZEN 22
Zen is a late teens arabian gelding that is scared of his own shadow. Law enforcement removed him from a severely abusive owner who not only mistreated Zen but also did not provide proper care. Zen is going to take some time and training along with some longer term basic care to recover from years of neglect. He should make a wonderful horse for someone once he has time to get more confident.
HONEY 22
Honey is the sweetest for sure….she is a 24yo donkey that came to us on an owner surrender but was neglected in her care for a long time. She was very sick and had cushings from being fed incorrectly. She requires Pergolide and she is gradually loosing the horrible fat pockets she had and getting healthier every day. She is absolutely beautiful and on her way to being adoptable one day.
